Richard Smith
Richard is a very experienced lawyer and the founder of the Limestone Law legal business. He has spent over 20 years as a partner and head of real estate departments in highly respected law firms in Oxford and London.
He is an expert and approachable lawyer who specialises in the following areas:
- Advising on how best to navigate the planning system, whether in obtaining permission for development, such as negotiation of a section 106 planning agreement, or objecting to unwanted local development proposals.
- Providing strategic and commercially astute legal advice on residential and commercial development projects, to help anticipate problems and reduce the risk of unforeseen obstacles, delays and costs.
- Advising on all aspects of environmental law in the UK, including pollution issues, waste management offences, contaminated land, landfill tax, warranties and indemnities in property and corporate transactions, due diligence, Environment Agency permits and exemptions.
